Types of Ski and Snowboard Lessons.

  • Individual Lessons - One-on-one coaching tailored specifically to your needs. Perfect for focused improvement and faster progress at any skill level. The ski or snowboard instructor is focused on the customer, making this option highly recommended for young kids and beginners.
  • Private Group Lessons - Learn to ski or snowboard in Bansko with friends or family in a small, private group. You'll receive personalized instruction in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The instructor will focus on your group as a whole, so it's best if participants are at similar skill levels. A great balance between quality and price.
  • Open Group Lessons - Join a group of ski or snowboard learners at a similar level and improve together in Bansko. Open group lessons are a fun, social, and affordable way to improve your skiing or snowboarding. Suitable for ages 7 and up. The instructor guides the overall progress of the group rather than individuals.

Tips.

If you have a young child (2-5 years old) and want to introduce them to skiing or snowboarding, start simple. Get the gear, take them to the snow, and let them play and explore. If they show interest, you can start with short lessons.

For the best learning experience, young kids and adults should not be in the same lesson group. Young kids need more attention, and their learning approach is more specific. Large groups of young children are not recommended.

Ski insurance is recommended, as anything can happen on the slopes. Choose a policy that covers medical help, ski and snowboard equipment, and ski pass refunds in case of bad weather.
